Capability
Every file says what it can do.
Tap a file and you see what can be done with it: edit, convert, share, print. Each row is in one of three states — available on this device, included with Pro, or not supported on this device.
An unsupported action is not hidden. The reason is written next to it in one sentence, because why an option is missing is more use to you than its absence.

Converting
Convert without the cloud.
Conversions between JPG, PNG and WebP are free and run entirely on the device. Conversions that produce documents, spreadsheets and PDFs — image to PDF and text to PDF among them — come with Pro; those run on the device too, what you pay for is the entitlement, not the engine.
The output is saved next to the original. The original is never deleted or overwritten: a conversion makes something, it does not destroy something.
Search
Find by name, type or date.
Search by name, type, date and size. Text inside documents is searchable too; the index is built on the device and never leaves it.
Versions
Going back breaks nothing.
When you edit a file the previous state is kept, and you can go back to the last 10 versions. Going back is not destructive — it writes a new version rather than removing the old one.
Deleted files wait in the trash for 30 days. Trash and versions take up space, so the storage screen shows each of them separately.

Pro unlocks document and spreadsheet conversions and unlimited version history. No account, no sign-in; the purchase belongs to your device and your store account.
Privacy
We take nothing from you.
Filerse shows no ads, creates no user account, and contains no analytics or tracking code. It reads only the folders you pick; the rest of your device stays invisible to it. Converting, searching and indexing all work without a network connection.
